Exploring The Anatomy Of The Mind For Success

By Greg Frost

Exploring the anatomy of the mind for success is something every individual should consider investing time in. Often likened to that of a super computer, the human mind is a very powerful device, allowing us to go far in life, be successful and realize whatever dreams which we may have. Thus, it is important for any individual to explore the anatomy of the mind in order to open up any possible paths to success in life.

At the very outset, it is important to recognize that the human mind is essentially made up of two main parts - the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. These two parts of the human mind function in conjunction with one another and are by no means separate entities. Achieving success would be a factor dependent on how well these two parts of the brain are used with one another.

To start off, we begin with the conscious mind. This part of the mind is what we use often in our day-to-day functions in places such as in school or at the office. This part of the mind controls cognitive functions such as our thought process, decision making process and analysis of problems. This is also the part which school tends to train, by enhancing our mental framework in more sophisticated ways. This part of the mind is able to reason and differentiate between things that are good or bad as well as being true or false. While this part of the mind is necessary in allowing us to go about daily lives, it is insufficient merely to rely completely on this part of the human mind to achieve success in life.

Subsequently, we move on to the subconscious mind. This part of the mind does not rest, unlike our conscious mind, even working while we are asleep. The subconscious mind covers many functions which we often take for granted, such as when we are breathing during sleep, the way we speak and the way we eat. This part of the mind is unable to differentiate various occurrences that it might come into contact with. Such occurrences include truth from falsity, as well as reality and the imaginary. Whatever information that the subconscious brain comes into contact with is not filtered or analyzed and gets programmed into our conscious mind, which determines the action ultimately carried out by us. This transmission of information form the subconscious to the conscious mind is carried out after a process of repetitions and a series of affirmations.

Given that, our subconscious mind is extremely vulnerable to negative affirmations. Negative messages can often work their way unnoticed into our subconscious where it enters our conscious mind and manifests itself as the result which we do not want to see. Thus, it is important for us to develop positive affirmations. This could take the forming of using positively charged words that appeal to our self-esteem and inner needs. It could also entail surrounding ourselves with positive like-minded people who never consider failure as an option.

Success or failure all rests upon how well we make use of our subconscious minds. What's stopping you from making the change for the better?

How to Make Your Mind Work For You

By Ralston Heath

So you have finally decided that there is something to this manifesting thing, and you now know that your subconscious mind has a lot to do with it. The next logical step is to learn how to direct and control this phenomenon to your benefit. So what to do next? Today's discussion we will talk about how one goes about making the universe work for them.

Let us start with an example: If you wanted an errand accomplished for you, you would give that person proper instructions as to what task needs accomplished and what you expect to be done. Let us say that you needed a letter taken to the post office and mailed. You would tell that person to take this letter, go to the post office and put the envelope in the proper mail slot so it will be processed promptly and will get to where it needs to go; and with a certainty that the person you asked to do this errand will do just that, you dismiss it from your mind and think no more about it. You wouldn't doubt their ability to do so; nor would you doubt their willingness. You would instinctively know that the errand would be done.

Well in a similar manner you can give your subconscious mind instructions with the same certainty of accomplishment. Suppose you needed a sum of money for some project, or to pay a bill. You instruct your subconscious mind with words to the effect of; "I will be guided in thought and action toward the solution of my problem." You can add a few conditions such as "It will be easy, and fun, to get the amount of money needed."

When you do this you may need to repeat it a few times until you "feel" that it is done. Then when you have taken this action and affirmed it to your comfort level two things happen, (and it will happen quickly) First; you would lose the feeling of doubt as to the ability to obtain the money. There will be a feeling of assurance that by the deadline, the needed money would be available. Then secondly thoughts would begin flowing into your conscious mind not just telling you what to do, but actually inspiring you to take steps necessary to obtain the money.

Here again we must reiterate a conversation from before; your subconscious works best when your conscious mind is pleasantly occupied. So issue the instructions, and then be comforted in the knowledge that your will is being done. Go about your other duties and tasks of the day and do not forget to do something entertaining and relaxing, such as a puzzle, or your hobby. Within a short time you will begin to see results of your instructions beginning to come to fruition.

Whenever you have to make a decision, and the thought will not come to you, give your subconscious the instruction to come up with the right choice and then put the problem entirely out of your mind, you can get a deck of cards and play solitaire for an hour, work on your model airplane, or wash the dishes. After a short while the right decision to make will be crystal clear in your mind. While your conscious is distracted, your subconscious will consider the problem, calmly working out the logical solution.

From this moment on, and for the rest of your life you should begin forming the habit of putting the subconscious to work for you. This creative power is on the job twenty-four hours every day. As you learn to use that great force, you will find that you have more happiness, satisfaction, and enjoyment of life.

Let us crystallize the dominant idea of this conversation: The subconscious does its best work while the conscious mind is either distracted or pleasantly occupied. This gives you the happy news that with this skill you will be more successful in all you do. You now realize that it is essential that you take time for enjoyable diversion. You can work smarter, or you can be working harder and longer. By allowing your subconscious to do your constructive thinking and planning, while your conscious mind does something else, you will receive many good ideas and suggestions. Then simply put into action the results you receive, and soon you will be outrageously successful. People will see the change in you and this may give you the opportunity to teach them this little secret.

Now some of you may ask: "If I work my subconscious twenty four hours every day, won't I be mentally tired?" The answer is a resounding: No! You must understand that right now your subconscious is already working twenty four hours each day and will be working twenty four hours a day until the time you leave this existence. If it is not being directed into positive, constructive use through positive and constructive thinking, it will be working against you by obeying your negative thoughts. Either way your subconscious will obey your commands, so it is time to begin using it to your advantage.

So let us review the important points of this conversation: First off your subconscious, if permitted to, will direct you in your work, making it better, easier, and far more pleasant. Then second you can, at will, direct your subconscious to assist you in the solving of problems, making the right decisions, and to discover ways and means of great achievement for you. In a previous conversation we discussed how you do not become proficient in anything unless you practice, so start today, and for the rest of your life, never stop using your own subconscious mind.

Now a quick discussion of how you can help your subconscious to help you.
Remember that your subconscious is working every hour of the day; and that it is working either for or against you. So with that in mind here is the first step: Be specific in the instructions you give; know that your subconscious will direct you to take the steps necessary and rest assured that your subconscious, with its reasoning faculties, will provide a practical solution for you. Then free your mind from worry, seek distraction, enjoy your hobby, play a board game, do a crossword puzzle. Then expect and have faith that the solution will be presented to you shortly. Make sure you do not worry; worry prevents you from doing the things which would provide the means to prevent the worry. To worry is to doubt the intelligence and power of your subconscious and worrying will not help the problem in the least, it will make it worse. Instead of worrying; take the time which you might use for worry and devote it to constructively working out ways and means of overcoming the problem.

Well I hope you can sense the feeling of self mastery which comes when you fully understand the effect that the conscious mind is the master of the subconscious, and that the subconscious is a true and faithful servant bringing about that which you command. This may seem too good to be true; but with what we have just discussed, the results obtained are only normal and to be expected, by those of us who make use of the subconscious mind.

Be Blessed

Proven Mind Control Techniques – How to Control Minds By Asking For More

By Michael Lee

Are there any proven mind control techniques to get someone to do what you want, even if you have that feeling that you’re asking too much? Fortunately, there is.

It’s called "asking for more." Ironic as it may sound, this is one of the most potent and proven mind control techniques you may use.

Here’s how it works. Let’s say you want your friend to donate $10 to a charitable cause you’re involved with. For him, $10 might already be a big amount. Instead of asking for less, you asked him for $25 because you imply that’s what most people are giving. If he doesn’t want to give you the $25, tell him, "In that case, we’ll just have to be contented with $10." He’ll feel so relieved to save $15 and will gladly give the $10 to you.

You won’t believe how often kids apply proven mind control techniques. They simply want to go to a movie, but they ask their parents to take them to expensive vacation spots. When their parents say that such trips are too expensive, their children would ask, "Could we just go to a movie then?" The kids get what they want, while the parents feel that the pressure has been taken off them.

The power of this persuasion technique comes from the feeling of obligation to reciprocate the concession you initially gave.

People will be more receptive to grant your true (and smaller) request after they declined the first (and bigger) one. They will feel embarrassed to turn down the second favor, especially if it’s much easier to comply than the first request.

The second request gives them the freedom of choice. It’s like they’re given an escape route. They will feel like a special favor has been given to them because they’re given room to negotiate and reject the first offer.

Using this proven mind control technique, they will feel a sense of contentment and at the same time, a sense of responsibility to fulfill the secondary (and even other future) requests.

Remember that people feel a sense of guilt if they refuse your request. If your second favor is something they can afford to do, then they'll grab the opportunity to make it up to you.

The great thing about this is that they might even give you the larger request. This is one of the most effectively proven mind control techniques because you give them the chance to negotiate, and at the same time you make them feel that they got the better end of the deal because you "gave in".

Programming The Subconscious Mind

By Odille Rault

The conscious mind can process about 40 bits of information per second; the subconscious mind can process 40 Million bits of information per second! Imagine if you could program the subconscious mind by delivering millions of instructions to it.

Of course, we constantly program our subconscious minds without realizing it. The conversations we have with ourselves and others, the information we expose ourselves to, our experiences, and our daily repetitive thinking -- all program the subconscious mind by default! The result can be seen in patterns in our lives.

The Subconscious Mind Controls Most Bodily Functions.

A small example of the Power of programming the subconscious mind is this: one of the bodily functions controlled by the subconscious is the production and absorption of HGH (human growth hormone). One of the reasons for the effects of aging is a decline in the production and absorption in the body, of HGH. If you could program your subconscious, you could instruct it to increase production and absorption of your body's own natural HGH, thus helping to diminish the effects of aging.

The Subconscious Mind Controls Habits.

We all have a myriad of habits we're unaware of, from physical habits to emotional and mental habits, and it can take immense work, time and will-power (not to mention therapy) to change these habits. Even something as apparently simple as thinking positively, or feeling enthusiastic about life, can prove to be a major challenge. Imagine the possibilities if you could go directly to the source and program your subconscious mind.

Methods of Programming the Subconscious Mind:

There are various ways you can attempt to program your subconscious. Some of these are conscious and manual, others are more direct and automatic.

Affirmations:

Let's start with the better known methods. Affirmations are one of the most popular ways in which people try to program their subconscious and change habits. With affirmations it's essential to use the present tense. For example: "I am confident" rather than "I will be confident." Affirmations can take a long time - they need to be repeated many times, and over a long period before the message may get through to the subconscious. They are also dependent on the conscious mind - which will usually argue with the affirmation "No I'm not." The old beliefs and patterns can often block the instructions from reaching the subconscious. The affirmation has to try (by repetitive convincing) to gain permission from the "gatekeeper" - the conscious mind - in order to enter the subconscious.

Self-Hypnosis:

This is a method of attempting to reach the subconscious but avoid the arguments of the conscious mind. With this method, the "gatekeeper" may be asleep, but the instructions still have to sneak past it without being noticed.

Subliminal Messaging:

A subliminal message is a signal or message embedded in another medium, designed to pass below the normal limits of perception. These messages are unrecognizable by the conscious mind. So with this technique, the gatekeeper is out cold, and it's fairly easy for instructions to sneak past without his ever knowing they were there! However, there is a lot of debate and disagreement as to the effectiveness of this method. There are subliminal messaging CDs you can buy, most of which consist of a background sound like rain or music, and have messages, instructions and affirmations embedded, which are inaudible to the conscious mind.

P.A.T.H.S. (Program Authoring the Human Subconscious)

Paths is a method of programming the subconscious mind by delivering instructions and cues directly to the subconscious, automatically.

However, unlike subliminal messaging it doesn't require hours a week listening to a CD. The person using Paths will watch an online customized theater presentation for three minutes per module. The modules relate to specific topics chosen by the user. These visual and audio theaters include cues targeting the person's subconscious mind. The subconscious mind recognizes that the theater is specifically for that user and nobody else. The subconscious mind then downloads millions of instructions corresponding to the modules chosen and then the presentation is over.

Over the next seven days, on average, the person's brain has assimilated and built new connections corresponding to the instructions that the subconscious mind received. The best analogy of how this is possible is that you could send one hundred pages to a printer all at once. The printer stores it in a memory. Then, the printer prints one page at a time, as it is able. This is like the brain forming new neural connections to correspond to this information, as it is able.

Although this method is no magical cure for all, by communicating more directly with the subconscious mind in this manner and at the huge repetitious cycle that RDT (Rapid Data Transfer) utilizes, the results are realized in a very fast manner that most people are unfamiliar with.

Whatever method you find works for you, the potential of the being able to program the subconscious mind is "mind-blowing" especially when you take into account the experiments conducted in 1979 by the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR). The PEAR program at Princeton University was set up to determine if human consciousness can externally affect the physical world. In 2007, PEAR was closed because they accomplished what they set out to do.

The Subconscious mind, not space, is the Final Frontier!
