Your Subconscious Mind

By Kevin E Graham

It saddens me to see people work so hard at diet and exercise to lose weight. Not that those areas are not important. In fact, consuming less and expending more is basically the only way to lose weight. However, the painful part is that people work at it. It does not have to be that way. It can be a joyous and soothing journey. I know that sounds ridiculous but it really can be a joyous and soothing process.

Have you ever heard someone say that they never worked a day in their life. It is usually someone that has had great success and there is no question that they have tolled (probably long and hard) and typically had gone through great sacrifice. So why do they say that they have never worked a day in their life? Because of their mental state. They have found out how to leverage their subconscious mind by controlling their conscious mind.

The mere term conscious mind connotes control, doesn't it? The average human has 30,000-50,000 thoughts per day (conscious thoughts). But how many of those are we actively controlling? A tenth if we are lucky. The challenge with most people is that they spend everyday noodling on the same thoughts - and those are too often worry and fear.

Now I have just been talking about our lack of command of our conscious mind. The subconscious mind is a whole other matter. It can go where we want it to go by simply documenting our goals. If you know what you want, your subconscious mind is already plotting a course to get you there. That is how we are wired.

So take control of your conscious mind, know your goals, embrace the feelings and emotions around achieving those goals and stay focused. Success is your destiny!

Many experts feel that our subconscious makes up 3/4 of our total cognitive capability. And it is very powerful. Take a quick mental journey with me and imagine only for a minute that you just gave a powerful speech in front of 50,000 people packed into your local stadium.

Come on, no one is watching so take a few seconds and enjoy the dream. Can you see yourself giving a wonderful speech in front of thousands of people. All of them cheering your every pause. If you dive into the dream and experience it as fully as your mind would allow you - you would also experience physiological changes such as goose bumps or excitement building inside.

If you truly just took that mental journey, then you felt the goose bumps and sheer excitement building inside. And the reason why you experienced that is because your subconscious mind does not know the difference between reality and fantasy. As your body filled with excitement, your subconscious mind felt it was real.

And as those realities build inside the subconscious mind, the mind believes that is who you are. Then the subconscious mind works to make that part of your future. The same is true with Weight Loss. If you have a strong vision of who you are going to become and you allow that dream to soak in every day - your mind (conscious and subconscious) will EMPOWER you to make the necessary changes so that the new you becomes a reality.

Get a strong vision of who you will become and let your subconscious mind guide you through the journey.

Exploring The Anatomy Of The Mind For Success

By Greg Frost

Exploring the anatomy of the mind for success is something every individual should consider investing time in. Often likened to that of a super computer, the human mind is a very powerful device, allowing us to go far in life, be successful and realize whatever dreams which we may have. Thus, it is important for any individual to explore the anatomy of the mind in order to open up any possible paths to success in life.

At the very outset, it is important to recognize that the human mind is essentially made up of two main parts - the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. These two parts of the human mind function in conjunction with one another and are by no means separate entities. Achieving success would be a factor dependent on how well these two parts of the brain are used with one another.

To start off, we begin with the conscious mind. This part of the mind is what we use often in our day-to-day functions in places such as in school or at the office. This part of the mind controls cognitive functions such as our thought process, decision making process and analysis of problems. This is also the part which school tends to train, by enhancing our mental framework in more sophisticated ways. This part of the mind is able to reason and differentiate between things that are good or bad as well as being true or false. While this part of the mind is necessary in allowing us to go about daily lives, it is insufficient merely to rely completely on this part of the human mind to achieve success in life.

Subsequently, we move on to the subconscious mind. This part of the mind does not rest, unlike our conscious mind, even working while we are asleep. The subconscious mind covers many functions which we often take for granted, such as when we are breathing during sleep, the way we speak and the way we eat. This part of the mind is unable to differentiate various occurrences that it might come into contact with. Such occurrences include truth from falsity, as well as reality and the imaginary. Whatever information that the subconscious brain comes into contact with is not filtered or analyzed and gets programmed into our conscious mind, which determines the action ultimately carried out by us. This transmission of information form the subconscious to the conscious mind is carried out after a process of repetitions and a series of affirmations.

Given that, our subconscious mind is extremely vulnerable to negative affirmations. Negative messages can often work their way unnoticed into our subconscious where it enters our conscious mind and manifests itself as the result which we do not want to see. Thus, it is important for us to develop positive affirmations. This could take the forming of using positively charged words that appeal to our self-esteem and inner needs. It could also entail surrounding ourselves with positive like-minded people who never consider failure as an option.

Success or failure all rests upon how well we make use of our subconscious minds. What's stopping you from making the change for the better?

How Our Subconscious Works

By Greg Frost

Exploring how our subconscious works is the necessary first step behind realizing the various goals in our lives. Contrary to what most people believe, success in life does not so much depend on how smart we are or on whatever academic qualifications which we may have achieved. Certainly, these are important contributing factors to success in our lives. However, the key here is developing a winning mentality which would enable us to bring out the best of what we may have.

Essentially, the human mind can be divided into two broad categories - the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Essentially these two parts of the human mind co-exist with one another.

The conscious mind is the more familiar of the two, and we use it on a daily basis where we carry out cognitive functions such as making decisions or putting forward arguments. This part of the human mind constitutes what most people would make use to get about life. In order to achieve success, it is necessary to move beyond this.

On the other hand, the subconscious mind plays a key factor in our lives, in a comparatively unnoticeable fashion. This part of the human mind functions to regulate our bodily functions such as our heartbeat, our breathing, as well as the way in which we breathe. These are functions in life which we take for granted and barely notice.

How our subconscious works in our day-to-day lives is that it takes instructions from our conscious mind without questioning. Such instructions go through a process of repetition and affirmations. These are then realized as actions after such instructions are transmitted over to the conscious mind. Without such instructions brought forward over to the subconscious, no action would be taken and the subconscious would, as a result remain in a dormant state. Unlike the conscious mind, the subconscious has no ability to discern truth from falsity, as well as the reality from the imaginary.

Given such, it is important to surround our subconscious minds with positive affirmations. Negative affirmations would often be manifested as negative results as the subconscious mind transmits the undesired results over to the conscious mind, which then takes action, resulting in the undesirable effect being manifested in reality. Given then, we should take the effort each day to place positive affirmations in our lives. Start off by thinking positive thoughts each day while rooting out negative ones. After all, changes all start from somewhere. Instead of telling yourself that "It is my entire fault" when something fails, make the break by choosing positive statements such as "What can I learn from this experience". These may be trying at the very start. However, over time, you would be able to surround yourself with thoughts, words and actions that are positive in nature.

In a nutshell, our subconscious mind is a powerful tool that can affect us in many ways, be it the good or the bad. In any case, it is necessary for one to be able to master his or her subconscious through means of positive affirmations. Doing so will guarantee you happiness and allow you to achieve more out of your life.

How to Overcome Bulimia by Eliminating Subconscious Blockages

By Irina Webster

I know you are thinking right now "Why do I have bulimia? How can I overcome it? And why isn't anything I tried before stopping it and has failed to help?"

You understand that bulimia is slowly killing you and ruining your life but you can't stop. It seems like something inside you is stronger that your own will.

Do you want to know what this "something else" is?

Well! It is another part of your brain called the subconscious mind that not only is responsible for your feelings, emotions and non-conscious actions that keep you alive, but it can also work against your own free will.

It is the part of the mind that is responsible for our actions when we do something but we don't know why we did it. Like when we get angry and explode, then we don't know why we did it (when there is no conscious explanation for it).

The subconscious mind operates on feelings and senses. And very often people can't even describe it logically. They just do what the subconscious mind wants.

So, the reason you have bulimia lies in your subconscious mind and to overcome bulimia you need to get rid off your subconscious blockages that always keep you being a bulimic against you will.

This is a major reason why conventional therapy doesn't work in most cases, because they try to affect the conscious mind of the person only. They don't change a person's subconscious. That's why when bulimics come back home from the clinic or doctor's room they continue their distractive eating behavior unabated again and again.

One of the common subconscious blockages bulimics have is the "broken eye syndrome". This is when bulimics see themselves fatter then they are and see their entire environment and other people in a different (wrong) way.

So, in order to overcome bulimia you should really find a way to change your subconscious mind and overcome these subconscious blockages that cause your bulimia.

Without working on your subconscious you will always come back to the same spot when you first started your bulimia and recovery becomes impossible, it is a never ending circle.

To conclude, if you have been unable to stop you bulimia it more that likely is a result of a subconscious emotional blockage. For example, the most common blockage is the "broken eye syndrome".

If you have a subconscious emotional blockage preventing you from stopping the bulimia, you are unlikely to realize it. An example of this is a bulimic who doesn't realize that they have "broken eye syndrome" - they see in a mirror a different picture from everyone else: basically their own mind is lying to them.

You are almost certainly not consciously aware of what the blockage is. For example again the "broken eye syndrome" - people are not aware of it, they truly believe that what they see in a mirror is the truth.

Subconscious self-beliefs cannot be identified and changed at the rational thinking level. For example, the "broken eye syndrome" gets worse and worse the longer you have bulimia, because the bulimic brain is constantly working on false information.

Identifying and eliminating your subconscious blockages is the best and really the only way you will ever overcome bulimia. More information http://www.bulimia-cure.com

The "Subconscious"

By Frank Q. Aurillo Jr.

In another article I had discussed the term "subconscious" with a hyphenated "mind" attached to it. Now I'm back with that word subconscious again but without the tail. I'm kind of enamored with this "subconscious" thing I'll give it a few more shots before I let it go peacefully.

I think the "subconscious" mind should always be understood with special consideration because most people probably have only a vague idea of what it is, although almost everybody will quickly admit they sure have heard of it, it's a fact of life, it's real--and that's it. Well?

Sounds more like heaven and hell where people haven't gone to and yet claim to know everything about it like the back of their hand.

The term "subconscious" may and should properly be in quotation marks because it occupies an absolutely unique niche in the realm of existence. No longer may anyone say it probably doesn't exist simply because people haven't seen, heard, smelt, touched or tasted it as substance because it isn't. Substance is matter. And it isn't matter but "mind" precisely. And it is different from the usual mind that we are very familiar with and which we call the "conscious" mind, the one with which we count our income, drive our car, eat and sleep.

The experts say that the "subconscious" is the source of all created things that are in existence from the smallest flea that you can find on your dog's scalp to the vast exploding quasars and pulsars and on to parallel universes in space that they say exist side by side with the universe known to us with our current knowledge and technology.

Hmm... Am I drifting towards church, religion or dogma? No sir, not at all. Nor am I engaged in a treatise on space technology by having said something about exploding stars. But strangely, Albert Einstein's thinking about matter converting itself into energy and back again should tell us that there must be a principle, if you will, for lack of a better term, that must exist that therefore underlies this. For simplicity's sake, if you can't destroy matter and only convert it to some other substance or form, doesn't it seem logical to suppose that there is this underlying thing or principle that guarantees matter's continued existence?

We are talking about the "subconscious" as probably some kind of a blueprint or template out of which the created thing takes shape. Another example would be that if you should plant a tree, say an avocado tree, the template or pattern of the avocado is already encoded in the atoms and molecules of the seed that you plant. You should be kidding yourself if you expect to behold an oak tree or a fig tree or a mango tree or some other tree when it grows up because it will follow the DNA or blueprint (avocado) of its own creation (I didn't put it there).

But most important thing to think about is that this "subconscious", this blueprint seems to be eternal, all- present and all-pervading in every place or condition in time and space where creation is in progress, from nature's own (natural) processes to the conversion of matter into its sub-states whether by natural or artificial means or intervention. And you think that creation was a done deal in seven days after God created the heavens, the firmament and Man himself?I personally believe that this underlying theme or principle, this "subconscious" or "mind" that serves and acts as blueprint, pattern or mold of all creation in all space and time and in this and all parallel universes--is what Einstein must have been thinking when he put forth his belief that matter is neither created nor destroyed.

Now then, what did we say about the subconscious "mind" not just residing in the right brain hemisphere but even outside of the human body? Oh my...

10 Steps Toward Taking Control of Your Subconscious Mind

By R J Licata

There are two parts to our brains- the conscious mind, which handles all things we are aware of and the subconscious mind, which controls everything else. The conscious mind works only some of the time (when we are awake). But the subconscious mind is always at work.

Whether we are aware of it or not, the subconscious mind, not including involuntary physical behaviors such as breathing and our heart beat, works off of signals sent to it from the conscious mind. In other words, whatever we spend our conscious time thinking about most becomes a point of interest for our subconscious mind. And since our subconscious mind is always at work, it puts forth a great deal of effort addressing those topics.

Have you ever gone to bed shortly after watching a scary movie? More often than not you have some sort of nightmares, right? Even if you can't recall being woken from the nightmares, there is a good chance that you had them. The occurrence of the nightmares is a prime example of the awesome power of our subconscious minds. While you watched the movie your conscious mind was creating thoughts and images of the parts that you found scary. If you don't change those thoughts before going to sleep, then your subconscious mind has nothing to work with other than the movie you just watched. During sleep is the most effective time for the subconscious mind, because there is no chance of conflicting signals coming from the conscious mind. This is why when making an important decision people will sometimes want to "sleep on it".

Ultimately your subconscious mind knows what's in your best interest, and will nudge you in that direction. Without the negative influence of the conscious mind, which tends to make decisions based on emotion rather than logical thought, your subconscious is free to do what it does best. That is, to help you achieve whatever it is you desire.

Now that we've determined that sleep is the best time for your subconscious mind to handle its work, we need to be sure that the scary movie thoughts are replaced with positive, problem solving and productive thoughts. This way, when your subconscious mind gets working it is addressing the issues of most importance to you, and not caught up with trivial matters that are out of your control anyway.

Following is a list of ten methods you can apply to your life that will help you access your subconscious mind.

Although the ideal situation would be to apply these tactics right before bed, it's not practical to expect to do so. I also think there are advantages to applying them throughout the day so that you're sure the things you want are reaching your subconscious mind.

Like anything else, these concepts will become easier with practice, but even when implemented poorly or improperly, you should still begin to see substantial results.

1. Leave Reminders

The easiest way to be sure you're thinking about things that are important is to leave physical reminders. There are a number of ways you can do this. The simplest is to write yourself notes. A to-do list can be helpful, though it's easy to have your primary goals blend in with other, less important daily activities.

What I suggest instead, and have found personal success with, is to firmly and clearly write your goal or desire on an note card or piece of paper and put it in a strategic location. I did this with my recent weight loss goal. The idea being that you will see it often, and the goal or thought will begin to fester in your mind, even if you are unaware of what's taking place.

Physical reminders use your conscious mind as a bridge to get to your subconscious mind. First, by creating the reminders (i.e. drawing the notes) you are instilling the thought into first your conscious mind, and then your subconscious.

Second, when you place the reminder in a strategic location, one where you will see it frequently, you give the thought an opportunity to take a direct route to your subconscious. (Think subliminal messaging.) If advertisers take advantage of this method so freely, and with such success, why can't we "trick" ourselves, too?

2. Meditate

I'm not a person who puts myself into deep trances on a regular basis, but as someone who daydreams occasionally, I can attest to the benefits of allowing your mind to drift into a relaxed, thoughtless state.

Thoughtless may be the wrong word. Focused is probably more accurate.

The next time you catch yourself daydreaming, take a moment and think about how focused and in tune with your thoughts you were. That is the state of mind you should shoot for when you meditate. Relax until you are literally lost in thought.

Be sure to have a focused topic as you are drifting into meditation or your thoughts may be misdirected. Take a minute to specifically identify the goals you want to achieve or the problem you'd like to solve. Once you've got them clearly in your mind, close your eyes, control your breathing and relax your body. Don't let those thoughts leave your head. Now visualize (see step 3.) yourself achieving the goals, or functioning in a world where your problem has been solved.

Continue in this state for as long as you feel necessary, and repeat as needed.

3. Visualize

Visualization works best when it's paired with meditation, but it doesn't have to be. Meditation puts you in a relaxed state, which makes it easier to create visual sequences. By creating visual sequences you put yourself in a situation that you anticipate yourself being in, before it actually happens. This allows your brain acclimate itself to the situation that is about to occur.

Essentially, visualization is practice for your brain. It's no different than practicing an athletic event, except rather than training muscles, you're training your brain, so it knows how you want it to respond in a specific scenario.

To visualize, all you do is create mental pictures (some people prefer videos), of yourself successfully accomplishing something. You would actually see yourself performing the task, either in third or first person, whichever you prefer.

It's important to remember to create the picture in as much detail as possible, making note of such things as sounds and smells. The more detailed the visualization, the more successful it will be.

Visualize through the entire event or performance, imagining the desired outcome and all the excitement that comes with it. Allow yourself to feel the joy that you will feel when you actually do successfully complete the task. Make it as real and as accurate as possible. Repeat as necessary, and don't stop until you're convinced you've already achieved the goal.

4. Tell Others About Your Goal

If you were to state your goal or desire aloud on a daily basis, your subconscious mind would have no choice but to listen. In order to speak, your brain must formulate thoughts, and in order to formulate thoughts, your brain must first compile and organize those thoughts. Such a simple thing as telling others about your plans requires that you make important decisions before you can do so.

The entire process is orchestrated by your conscious mind, which relays the plan to the subconscious. Suddenly, you've opened up the channel of communication between the two minds, simply by stating your thoughts. While you're explaining away, your subconscious has already begun working on how you're going to accomplish your goal.

A beneficial byproduct of this step is the accountability factor. This is another strategy that I used when starting my weight loss plan. The more people you tell of your plan, the more people you will let down if you fail to achieve it. For me, the accountability aspect adds an extra element of motivation to my already desired goal. It is also a huge help when dealing with procrastination.

5. Talk to Those Who've Been There

Trails are blazed for a reason. Could you imagine if every time you wanted to do something you had to completely start from scratch? What if recipes had to be invented new each time? Or if computers weren't built based on successes and failures of previous builds? Imagine how impossible progression would be on this planet.

Thankfully, that isn't the case in manufacturing and cooking, and there's no reason why it should be in life either. If there's a particular thing you'd like to do with your life, then make it a point to speak to someone who has already done it. If you can't get in touch with them, then read everything you can about them, or study their career. Do everything in your power to follow the path that they created for themselves. If there's something you'd rather do differently, you can always veer off, but there is no need to insist on being a pioneer to get to the same place someone else already has.

You don't have to stop being your own person to follow a blueprint for success. Having a plan that is already proven successful will allow your subconscious mind to work on the nuts and bolts of following the plan rather than designing its own plan. The closer you can get your subconscious mind to the heart of the matter, the better.

It begins with starting down the right road.

6. Set a Deadline

Tell your subconscious mind that you mean business. If you were to combine a deadline with the accountability factor, you'd give yourself no choice but to accomplish your goal.

A deadline tells your subconscious mind that there is an urgent matter at hand, and it must be taken care of immediately. Your mind will feel the importance of the matter, and will make all the necessary adjustments to be sure that the proper attention is given to solving this problem, which it understands to be the most pressing.

Even if it isn't the most important thing going on in your life, a deadline will keep your mind working on it, until it's met.

The amazing thing about the subconscious mind is it does whatever it takes to accomplish the things that you ask it to. Attaching a deadline to a particular goal simply increases the rate at which the subconscious mind works, without you even realizing it.

7. Maintain Focus

It's extremely easy to become distracted from the goals that are most important.

Typically, when you lose focus on what's important it's because your conscious mind becomes occupied with something. Although your subconscious mind wants to continue working on the original plan, your attention is diverted from the ultimate goal to something more timely, but usually not nearly as important.

When your focus shifts, the ability of your subconscious mind to take on and solve the problems you've layed out for it becomes significantly lower. To counteract this, you've got to make a conscious effort to maintain your focus on the issues that you want your subconscious to concentrate on. By this I mean you've got to be aware of the distractions that are presented to your conscious mind, and do your best to flush them out.

Once you understand how to filter your thoughts so that only the absolutely important ones make it to your subconscious, you're on your way to realizing its potential.

8. Chart Progress

The only way to truly understand progress is to see where you were then, and compare it to where you are now. To see a visual map of the road you traveled is an important step towards reaching your ultimate goal.

To begin, take the goal you'd like to achieve, the one that you've been calling on your subconscious mind to accomplish, and write it down in as much detail as you can.

Next, identify a few of the stages or milestones that you plan to reach on the way towards achieving that goal. Keep them in your mind as necessary benchmarks.

Now when you approach those benchmarks you'll be able to see how far you've come, as well as how much further you have to go.

The road map lets your subconscious know that it's on the right track, that it's making progress, and what the next benchmark is, so it can apply its efforts accordingly.

9. Be Realistic

It's easy to tell your subconscious that your goal is to end world hunger. However, when you do that, and then realize that such a goal is beyond your scope of ability, you've set yourself up for failure. As a result you become discouraged and risk losing faith in yourself.

A better way to accomplish your goal is to set a goal that challenges you, yet is realistic. If ending world hunger is your ultimate goal, how about setting your first goal at ending hunger in your community. Once you've accomplished that goal, then you can broaden your scope and work on something bigger.

Give your subconscious mind a challenging goal, but pace yourself. Going for it all right off the bat is a recipe for disaster.

10. Persevere & Persist

Understand now that there will be setbacks. There will be struggles and difficulties. But keep in mind that those things are only temporary.

No setback has to be permanent. It only becomes so if you allow it. It's your responsibility to train your subconscious and conscious minds to see the difference between setbacks and failures.

When you hit a roadblock, go around it. When you have a bridge to cross, cross it with confidence.

Tell yourself that no matter what, you will accomplish that goal. Your subconscious mind, once it has the assurance that you want it to work on a goal, will do whatever it takes to succeed. But if it has the slightest bit of doubt (i.e. you're not totally convinced of what your want, or if you can accomplish it) then it struggles to find solutions.

Be persistent, persevere through tough times, decide confidently in what you want and allow no temporary setback to put you off course.

If you relay this message to your subconscious mind by making a conscious decision that this is what you want, your subconscious mind will respond.

You Control Your Destiny

Remember, your subconscious mind exists to serve you. Put it to work in a productive way and it will provide overwhelming results.

Make conscious decisions that are in the best interest of your overall goals, and your subconscious mind will receive the message, and go to work.

The more you utilize the great power that your subconscious mind provides, the better you will be at calling on it. And the better you get at calling on it, the more success you will realize.

Only you control your destiny. You have the ability to make decisions that impact your life. Take advantage of the power you have to make the best decisions.

By Nishanth Reddy

Hypnosis for weight loss can bring you success at your goal of losing weight, particularly when all other approaches fail. With the increase in the hypnosis for weight loss success rate, more and more people are using hypnosis for losing their weight. Thus, more and more people are conquering weight gain and enjoying a slimmer and healthier body through hypnosis for weight loss.

Convince Conscious Mind For Subconscious To Work

By Enoch Tan

Enoch TanLevel: PlatinumEnoch Tan aims to help people achieve greater awareness in living and experiencing life. To evolve human consciousness to higher levels. To change lives and ...
Your conscious mind is the part of your mind that deals with reason and logic. It is the director of your subconscious mind, which is the part of your mind that deals with energy and creation. Your conscious mind is the logical mind that functions with logic. You think with the conscious mind and it is the programmer of the subconscious mind, which is the creative mind that carries out the program. Convince your logical mind so that it will send the right instructions to your creative mind.

The source of our ability to achieve anything we desire is the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind will accept any sustained impression, particularly fuelled by emotion, and therefore any sustained thought, and bring it into manifestation without question. It is the task of the conscious mind therefore to choose carefully which sustained thoughts and impressions the subconscious mind receives.

The bible says that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of the Heavenly Father which is in heaven. The "two of you" referred to are the conscious and subconscious minds. Before anything can be achieved, both need to be in harmony. The subconscious mind is always in harmony and never argues about anything, so it is the conscious mind that needs to be convinced.

The subconscious mind does not need reason to make things happen. When an impression is made upon the subconscious mind without conscious awareness, the subconscious mind will proceed to work on it automatically. But its effect will soon become noticeable by the conscious mind and will be interfered by it. If your conscious mind cannot accept what is happening because it reasons against it, then it will send a conflicting impression that will undo the first.

There are two conditions that need to be present for subconscious change to be sustainable. The first condition is that the subconscious impression must be continually induced in order to maintain its strength over the mind. The second condition is that the conscious mind must become convinced by reasoning the result as a logically acceptable event. When either one of these two conditions are present, the subconscious mind will be able to continue creating the thing it is programmed with.

When change happens unconsciously, it can also reverse unconsciously. There are times when you experience good or bad things happening to you for awhile. But you have no idea how exactly did you cause those things to happen because you were unconsciously creating them. Then when your subconscious mind undergoes a change, the good or bad things begin to change as well. That is why if you want to have deliberate control over your reality creation, you need to have conscious understanding.

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will control your life and you will call it fate. That is why gaining awareness is so important. All of life is a learning experience to become all that you can be. The purpose of all our experiences whether good or bad is for us to evolve in our consciousness. The more conscious we become, the more power we have as deliberate creators of our own reality. Awareness gives us freewill to choose our experiences.

Even when you choose to use techniques or technology that bypasses the conscious mind to program the subconscious mind for unconscious change, you should seek to learn how it works. When you are aware of the process and the logic behind it, you are able to have both your conscious and subconscious minds working for you. Total transformation involves the whole mind and not just part of it. It is your belief that the subconscious technique works that affects its influence over you as well.

We seek to understand how everything works and to discover the explanation of every mystery that presents itself to us. It is because when we can comprehend all that we experience according to logic, we are able to master our situations instead of letting them master us. Everything in the universe runs according to logic. When we encounter anything we do not understand, it is not because it is illogical but just that we have yet to discover the logic of it.

Logic does not originate from the conscious mind but from the subconscious mind. No one invents a new idea that never existed, but he only discovers it through inspiration that comes from a place where it already exists with everything else. It is the conscious mind that plays with logic and then decides how shall the subconscious mind operate with it. The truth is all programs already exist within the subconscious mind, but the conscious mind decides which ones it shall run.

Perfect creation requires perfect harmony between the conscious and subconscious minds. That is why you need to find as much information as you can that supports you in believing in the possibility and success of creating what you desire. Conscious knowledge enables us to direct reality as we will. Understanding is the key to solving all our problems. Understanding the problem dissolves the problem. Understanding is the reason that convinces the conscious mind for the subconscious to work.

Life Coach: The Deepest Level of the Subconscious with 7 Questions

By Kelly Burris

A question that is not answered or asked by anyone in the mental health community is: "What determines human behavior?" If you cannot answer this question (What determines human behavior?) you are guessing how to help someone with depression which is the primary symptom for almost all behavior disorders. If you want to assert control there are 7 questions that will lead you to a basic understanding of how to take control.

Question: 1 - Are you running your life?

Question: 2 - Do you know how the subconscious works?

Answer: If you do not know how your subconscious works you are not running your life your life is running you.

Question: 3 - How can the subconscious possibly be running my life?

Answer: To give you an idea of the power of the subconscious, you can speak at a rate of about two to three hundred words per minute. The subconscious runs at a rate of approximately one thousand to twelve hundred words per minute which is about four times faster than you can speak. This is why you can talk on the phone and perform other tasks like typing on the computer or driving a car because the subconscious is already programmed to do the other tasks.

You can look at the conscious mind and the subconscious mind like a tug of war with a vat of mud in the middle for whomever loses. The conscious mind is one person on one side against the subconscious, which are four people on the other side. If the conscious mind decides to move in a different direction like losing weight, increasing your fitness program, making more money, quitting smoking or any number of other things, it is usually a losing proposition because you are simply outnumbered with information.

This is the reason why spontaneous change is so difficult. Evidence of this is with the approximately 98% fail rate for people who do not maintain a desired weight loss. The dilemma is that the subconscious is not only running four times faster you also have no idea what it is doing.

Gaining Access to the Deepest Level of the Subconscious

Question: 4 - Do you ask yourself questions?

Answer: Yes. You begin the process of asking yourself questions as soon as you get up every morning. You ask yourself questions like...What do I need to do today, what am I going to wear, what calls or emails do I need to return?

Question: 5 - Does the subconscious work on questions when you are not consciously involved?

Answer: Yes. If you have ever asked yourself the question...What is that person's name? It may take an hour, a day or even a week but at a time when you are not even thinking about it the person's name will come popping into your head. The subconscious works on every question you ask even when you are not consciously involved. When you ask yourself a question this process happens every time.

Question: 6 - When I ask you a question where does the answer come from?

Answer: The subconscious

When I ask you a question about questions that you ask yourself you have now gained access to the very core of the subconscious and the very beginning of what brings about an emotional state and in turn determines your behavior.
If I ask you where you went on your last vacation, you repeat the question to yourself which brings up a picture of where you went on vacation and then you are able to explain to me where you went on vacation. Without going through this process there simply would not be any communication. How you communicate with yourself is the bottom line.

What you say to yourself is more important than anything anyone will say to you or about you especially the questions you ask yourself. The questions you ask yourself represent the very core of your power or the very core your destruction. This leads us to the most fundamental question of all.

Question: 7 - What determines human behavior?

Answer: Information

What determines human behavior is simply information and the components of this information are words and pictures. Getting control of this information from the deepest level of the subconscious will allow you to determine your emotional state your behavior and your life's path. Getting control of this information will empower you with true control of your life as opposed to your life being a random event.
