Your Subconscious Mind

By Kevin E Graham

It saddens me to see people work so hard at diet and exercise to lose weight. Not that those areas are not important. In fact, consuming less and expending more is basically the only way to lose weight. However, the painful part is that people work at it. It does not have to be that way. It can be a joyous and soothing journey. I know that sounds ridiculous but it really can be a joyous and soothing process.

Have you ever heard someone say that they never worked a day in their life. It is usually someone that has had great success and there is no question that they have tolled (probably long and hard) and typically had gone through great sacrifice. So why do they say that they have never worked a day in their life? Because of their mental state. They have found out how to leverage their subconscious mind by controlling their conscious mind.

The mere term conscious mind connotes control, doesn't it? The average human has 30,000-50,000 thoughts per day (conscious thoughts). But how many of those are we actively controlling? A tenth if we are lucky. The challenge with most people is that they spend everyday noodling on the same thoughts - and those are too often worry and fear.

Now I have just been talking about our lack of command of our conscious mind. The subconscious mind is a whole other matter. It can go where we want it to go by simply documenting our goals. If you know what you want, your subconscious mind is already plotting a course to get you there. That is how we are wired.

So take control of your conscious mind, know your goals, embrace the feelings and emotions around achieving those goals and stay focused. Success is your destiny!

Many experts feel that our subconscious makes up 3/4 of our total cognitive capability. And it is very powerful. Take a quick mental journey with me and imagine only for a minute that you just gave a powerful speech in front of 50,000 people packed into your local stadium.

Come on, no one is watching so take a few seconds and enjoy the dream. Can you see yourself giving a wonderful speech in front of thousands of people. All of them cheering your every pause. If you dive into the dream and experience it as fully as your mind would allow you - you would also experience physiological changes such as goose bumps or excitement building inside.

If you truly just took that mental journey, then you felt the goose bumps and sheer excitement building inside. And the reason why you experienced that is because your subconscious mind does not know the difference between reality and fantasy. As your body filled with excitement, your subconscious mind felt it was real.

And as those realities build inside the subconscious mind, the mind believes that is who you are. Then the subconscious mind works to make that part of your future. The same is true with Weight Loss. If you have a strong vision of who you are going to become and you allow that dream to soak in every day - your mind (conscious and subconscious) will EMPOWER you to make the necessary changes so that the new you becomes a reality.

Get a strong vision of who you will become and let your subconscious mind guide you through the journey.

Exploring The Anatomy Of The Mind For Success

By Greg Frost

Exploring the anatomy of the mind for success is something every individual should consider investing time in. Often likened to that of a super computer, the human mind is a very powerful device, allowing us to go far in life, be successful and realize whatever dreams which we may have. Thus, it is important for any individual to explore the anatomy of the mind in order to open up any possible paths to success in life.

At the very outset, it is important to recognize that the human mind is essentially made up of two main parts - the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. These two parts of the human mind function in conjunction with one another and are by no means separate entities. Achieving success would be a factor dependent on how well these two parts of the brain are used with one another.

To start off, we begin with the conscious mind. This part of the mind is what we use often in our day-to-day functions in places such as in school or at the office. This part of the mind controls cognitive functions such as our thought process, decision making process and analysis of problems. This is also the part which school tends to train, by enhancing our mental framework in more sophisticated ways. This part of the mind is able to reason and differentiate between things that are good or bad as well as being true or false. While this part of the mind is necessary in allowing us to go about daily lives, it is insufficient merely to rely completely on this part of the human mind to achieve success in life.

Subsequently, we move on to the subconscious mind. This part of the mind does not rest, unlike our conscious mind, even working while we are asleep. The subconscious mind covers many functions which we often take for granted, such as when we are breathing during sleep, the way we speak and the way we eat. This part of the mind is unable to differentiate various occurrences that it might come into contact with. Such occurrences include truth from falsity, as well as reality and the imaginary. Whatever information that the subconscious brain comes into contact with is not filtered or analyzed and gets programmed into our conscious mind, which determines the action ultimately carried out by us. This transmission of information form the subconscious to the conscious mind is carried out after a process of repetitions and a series of affirmations.

Given that, our subconscious mind is extremely vulnerable to negative affirmations. Negative messages can often work their way unnoticed into our subconscious where it enters our conscious mind and manifests itself as the result which we do not want to see. Thus, it is important for us to develop positive affirmations. This could take the forming of using positively charged words that appeal to our self-esteem and inner needs. It could also entail surrounding ourselves with positive like-minded people who never consider failure as an option.

Success or failure all rests upon how well we make use of our subconscious minds. What's stopping you from making the change for the better?

Convince Conscious Mind For Subconscious To Work

By Enoch Tan

Enoch TanLevel: PlatinumEnoch Tan aims to help people achieve greater awareness in living and experiencing life. To evolve human consciousness to higher levels. To change lives and ...
Your conscious mind is the part of your mind that deals with reason and logic. It is the director of your subconscious mind, which is the part of your mind that deals with energy and creation. Your conscious mind is the logical mind that functions with logic. You think with the conscious mind and it is the programmer of the subconscious mind, which is the creative mind that carries out the program. Convince your logical mind so that it will send the right instructions to your creative mind.

The source of our ability to achieve anything we desire is the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind will accept any sustained impression, particularly fuelled by emotion, and therefore any sustained thought, and bring it into manifestation without question. It is the task of the conscious mind therefore to choose carefully which sustained thoughts and impressions the subconscious mind receives.

The bible says that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of the Heavenly Father which is in heaven. The "two of you" referred to are the conscious and subconscious minds. Before anything can be achieved, both need to be in harmony. The subconscious mind is always in harmony and never argues about anything, so it is the conscious mind that needs to be convinced.

The subconscious mind does not need reason to make things happen. When an impression is made upon the subconscious mind without conscious awareness, the subconscious mind will proceed to work on it automatically. But its effect will soon become noticeable by the conscious mind and will be interfered by it. If your conscious mind cannot accept what is happening because it reasons against it, then it will send a conflicting impression that will undo the first.

There are two conditions that need to be present for subconscious change to be sustainable. The first condition is that the subconscious impression must be continually induced in order to maintain its strength over the mind. The second condition is that the conscious mind must become convinced by reasoning the result as a logically acceptable event. When either one of these two conditions are present, the subconscious mind will be able to continue creating the thing it is programmed with.

When change happens unconsciously, it can also reverse unconsciously. There are times when you experience good or bad things happening to you for awhile. But you have no idea how exactly did you cause those things to happen because you were unconsciously creating them. Then when your subconscious mind undergoes a change, the good or bad things begin to change as well. That is why if you want to have deliberate control over your reality creation, you need to have conscious understanding.

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will control your life and you will call it fate. That is why gaining awareness is so important. All of life is a learning experience to become all that you can be. The purpose of all our experiences whether good or bad is for us to evolve in our consciousness. The more conscious we become, the more power we have as deliberate creators of our own reality. Awareness gives us freewill to choose our experiences.

Even when you choose to use techniques or technology that bypasses the conscious mind to program the subconscious mind for unconscious change, you should seek to learn how it works. When you are aware of the process and the logic behind it, you are able to have both your conscious and subconscious minds working for you. Total transformation involves the whole mind and not just part of it. It is your belief that the subconscious technique works that affects its influence over you as well.

We seek to understand how everything works and to discover the explanation of every mystery that presents itself to us. It is because when we can comprehend all that we experience according to logic, we are able to master our situations instead of letting them master us. Everything in the universe runs according to logic. When we encounter anything we do not understand, it is not because it is illogical but just that we have yet to discover the logic of it.

Logic does not originate from the conscious mind but from the subconscious mind. No one invents a new idea that never existed, but he only discovers it through inspiration that comes from a place where it already exists with everything else. It is the conscious mind that plays with logic and then decides how shall the subconscious mind operate with it. The truth is all programs already exist within the subconscious mind, but the conscious mind decides which ones it shall run.

Perfect creation requires perfect harmony between the conscious and subconscious minds. That is why you need to find as much information as you can that supports you in believing in the possibility and success of creating what you desire. Conscious knowledge enables us to direct reality as we will. Understanding is the key to solving all our problems. Understanding the problem dissolves the problem. Understanding is the reason that convinces the conscious mind for the subconscious to work.
