Asking Your Subconscious Mind Favors

By Steve Wickham

We've all had those pesky occasions where we've totally forgotten something we really need to recall/remember. It's really frustrating when that thing is just on the 'tip of your tongue' but just won't come. But, sometimes we can be blessed with serendipitous recall. Just how does that work?

Sometimes after leaving a vexing problem with a shot memory to boot, we do finally get the answer or the information we were looking for, because our subconscious mind continues to work on the issue behind the scenes, under the radar of our conscious awareness.

The human mind is marvellous in this way. It explains why we'll suddenly awaken at 2 AM and need to furiously write something down. If we don't obey this instinct, the recalled information is perhaps lost forever as we dither away in our never-land sleep. If this has ever happened to you, you'll know how self-castigated you've made yourself feel the next day for missing such an opportunity.

This part of the mind we don't capitalise on nearly enough. We could train our minds to undertake this sort of recall and our memories could be sharper as a result.

We can ask our subconscious minds these favours of recall by:

1. Not overly stressing our conscious minds when we struggle with recall--it's a reminder not to worry so much about a shot memory;

2. Praying. It may sound silly to those who don't consider themselves spiritual, but praying for recall can help. Ask the subconscious to assist and then leave the problem;

3. Journalling about times when our subconscious minds expanded our thinking. These things happen much more than we give ourselves credit for. These are learning and growing opportunities. Opportunities to learn how our minds work and even to replicate the antecedent conditions that brought on the gorgeous thinking so we can enjoy more of it.

Thinking. It's a marvellous pastime. Yet, for many of us just switching the mind off can prove to be the most difficult and daunting task ahead.

At least the issue of utilising the subconscious mind is a positive thing.

Develop Your Subconscious Mind Power

By Dale Odeyemi

Whatever we see, hear, smell, taste, touch or feel passes through the conscious mind and reaches the subconscious mind where it is then stored.

Once you have learned how best to deal with a situation, you will generally find it much easier the next time around. This is because you are using information which is already stored.

For instance, once you have learned to ride a bike, you don’t have to consciously think about it anymore. This is because the stored information will come to you automatically, the next time you get on your bike to ride it.

Just as if you were to learn where each letter on your keyboard is, you can now type without looking because you have formed a mental picture in your subconscious mind of what the keyboard actually looks like.

The above are just two instances of how the subconscious mind stores up relations of learned behaviour. We are sure you would be able to find many more examples of this in your everyday life!

Information from the conscious mind gets past into the subconscious mind, and there is a very strong link between the two. It is said that everything you have ever seen, heard or experienced is perceived by your conscious mind, and then stored away into your subconscious mind as a memory.

Not only is this memory stored as the incident itself, but also any feelings that went with it at the time are also stored.

Your subconscious mind does not only store your memories and feelings. It is the maker of all the great ideas you have ever had, and is also the seat of your intuition and creativity. When you do begin to control your conscious thought processes, you will find that you can apply the powers of your subconscious mind towards any problem or difficulty you may come across.

Most of the great artists, poets, writers, scientists, inventors and discovers have had or have a deep understanding of how their conscious and subconscious mind work. The ones that do not unknowingly set their genius to work for them when they tapped into their subconscious mind power by instinct.

You see, the Einsteins and Edisons were not that much smarter that the average person, writes psychology professor Dean Simonton.

After conducting many studies of intelligence and creativity, Professor Simonton has found that there is no real relationship between our IQ and creativity. Most of the celebrated minds of history, Simonton believes, simply made better use of their subconscious mind power.

Just by having a basic knowledge and understanding of how your conscious and subconscious mind work, and also how they interact with each other, you will be able to work wonders in your life. The possibilities truly are endless!

Making Sense of the Conscious & Subconscious Mind

By Avinoam Lerner

As a Hypnotherapist I am often asked by my clients about the mind and the mechanics of Hypnosis. Perhaps the most common question is "how come I can't do it by myself?

The truth is that you can do a good amount of work and bring about much positive change with self-hypnosis.

Many of my clients who listen to my self-hypnosis programs report about the positive changes that they experience in their lives. Be it weight loss, body image or overcoming fears, you can certainly train your mind and enjoy the benefits.

However, there are many conditions or symptoms where the aid of a professional Hypnotherapist is necessary. In my office I see people every day who struggle with self-limiting beliefs, destructive behaviors, chronic illness, anxiety & panic attacks and other conditions where the symptoms are debilitating and seem beyond the client control.

With cautious I will say that the root for many of these conditions, if not organic, will reside in the Subconscious Mind, and this is why.

The mind model of Conscious and Subconscious-mind works best to explain why changing some of our habits is more difficult than others. In short these two agencies have a different job title.

Your conscious-mind, also called the critical-mind is working right now as you are reading these lines. Your conscious-mind is logical, analytical and its basic functions are to gather information, evaluate and decide appropriate respond or behavior based on the information stored in the subconscious-mind. The conscious-mind is responsible for short-term memory and will-power, both necessary for optimum daily performance.

The subconscious-mind can be compared to vast library of data or the hard disc of your computer. Every statement, image, concept or idea that you became aware of throughout your life was recorded and stored in your subconscious mind. It's hard to imagine, and yet, each and every day you draw from this library, measure, compare, evaluate and decide your behavior based on your knowledge.

For example, when you walk by the neighborhood bakery, the smell of bread may bring back some wonderful memories that were not available a minute ago. These memories surfaced into consciousness upon demand from the conscious mind to understand a new element in your immediate environment (just doing its job).

The knowledge of what fresh bread smells like, reside in the Subconscious-Mind and therefore the Conscious-Mind could evaluate the new found smell with the one already in place. The same is true for weather or not you find the smell of bread attractive or not.

Based on these "original" perceptions you will decide to act or not, or in this case decide to eat it or not.

If weight loss is your goal, then you want to change your relationship with food. Will power may work for a short while but not for long (which is why diets fail so often). Lasting result can be attained when you change the way you perceive food to be, at the source of perception, which is the Subconscious-Mind.

In a state of hypnosis such change is possible because we are bypassing the critical factor of the Conscious-Mind. Then and only then you will be able to override, replace or change your perception and therefore your life.

Bulimia in Men

By Irina Webster

It was with great interest that I read in the UK Telegraph about the ex deputy prime minister of the UK John Prescott and his battle with bulimia. It is good that man in such a high powered position has finally come out and said he was a sufferer of this insidious disorder.

It was also with interest that the headline in the Times online said "How could a big man like John Prescott have a girl's illness"?

This has always been a huge misconception that only women and girls get eating disorders and of course this could not be further from the truth. Although there are more women with the disease than men, it does not mean there are not many more male sufferers out there who have hidden the disorder like Mr. John Prescott has.

Statistics say that there are many more women with the disease than men but this could be because men will not come forward and seek help. It boils down to the fact that men will not tell anyone because of the stigma attached to people with eating disorders, especially males with this problem: this in turn can easily skew the statistics.

Mr. Prescott put his bulimia down to the fact he was under enormous stress associated with his job as a parliamentarian, working long hours and deriving his only pleasures from eating large amounts of food. He stated himself that he ate huge amounts of food and no one ever suspected he was a bulimic because he was not thin.

This is another misconception; you do not have to be really thin to have bulimia: Mr. Prescott is certainly no stick figure. I have been asked the same question many times by family members of a sufferer who say, but he does not look really thin. My answer back is you don't have to be to be thin to be bulimic.

So why do men contract a disorder like bulimia? Like Mr. Prescott says his was due to stress and this is certainly one of the keys. But it can also be for job reasons and many male sufferers start of being bulimic because of their occupation. We have come across many male sufferers who are dancers, gymnasts, jockeys, airline stewards, male models and many more industries where being a certain size is a must for the job.

Most people, who know little about a disease like bulimia and this includes many journalists, say why can't they just stop: I wish it was as simple as that but it is not. Like Mr. Prescott said he got some weird satisfaction from binging and then purging and all bulimics get the same thing.

When a bulimic purges they get a release of a pleasure hormone not unlike the endorphins an athlete gets after exercising. This feel good hormone is one of the reasons a bulimic continues on with his erratic eating behavior. The problem is the rush they get is very short lived, so they have to binge and purge even more. So asking a bulimic to simply stop is like asking a non-sufferer to give up breathing air: it is not going to happen.

Most non-sufferers and many others think that you can beat bulimia with logic and by pointing out the errors of their ways they will stop. But again this is an impossibility and simply cannot happen. Mr. Prescott and his wife knew for years it was wrong and that he was in danger of serious medical problems, but he could not stop. If bulimia was a logical disease then he should have been able to stop when he realized he was doing harm to himself, but he couldn't.

This is because bulimia lives in the subconscious mind of the sufferer and the subconscious mind does not work on logic, it works on feelings and emotions and these are certainly not logical. The longer the bulimic has the disorder the more ingrained it becomes in the subconscious mind of the sufferer.

There is a way you can see how the subconscious mind works for yourself. The next time you explode at one of the kids or go off for no apparent reason, just ask yourself if it was logical. I bet you do not have the slightest idea why it happened; it is because it came from your subconscious mind and not your logical mind.

There is only one way you can really stop bulimia and that is through the subconscious mind where the bulimia lives. It lives there because it was programmed by the sufferer to be there over months or even years as was the case with Mr. Prescott.

Dr Irina Webster MD is the Director of Women Health Issues Program which covers different areas of Women Health. She is a recognised authority in the eating disorders area. She is an author of many books and a public speaker. http://www.bulimia-cure.com

If you are a bulimic or if you are a family member of a bulimic, the best place to find out more about how the subconscious mind works is at http://www.bulimia-cure.com where it explains all about the connection with the subconscious mind and bulimia.

Goal Setting Helps You Reach Your Full Potential

By Alvin Loh

Are you completely satisfied with your life? Which part of your life would you like to see improvement? If you are completely satisfied with your life, then this article and goal setting may not be suitable for you. However, for most of us, usually there are some parts of our lives which we wish to see changes. Perhaps some of us will like to get healthier and fitter while others will like to attain a level of financial wealth in their lives. Being human, everyone is undoubtedly aiming at something at some point in their lives. This is because we have a thinking ability and we have emotions. With this ability to comprehend and think, we will certainly always have the drive to do better and live better. However, because of this ability, we also have the tendency to resist the effort need to bring about the changes, even if the changes are beneficial to us.

So can we then change for the better and reach our full potential and live a more purposeful life? The answer is simple. Just give our brains something to aim for and we will almost immediately be more focused. The human brain is an amazing computer. It can comprehend patterns and some things far more efficient and faster then the fastest computer on earth. The human brain is also the main driver for our body actions. By giving it an instruction or a task to accomplish, it will find ways and means to complete the task. This is because our mind has a habit to complete things. Unfinished puzzles and questions or task creates an imbalance in our minds and our brains will try its best to solve this imbalance. For example, think about the last thing that you wanted to remember but for some reason, you just cannot recall what it is. A few days later, the answer just popped up in your mind when you least expect it. In this example, when you first wanted to recall something, you gave your brain an instruction. Your brain processed the instruction and it doesn't stop until it has finished even thought you are not actively thinking about it.

This process is made possible by the portion of the brain that also controls our emotions and feeling. Its called the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the powerhouse portion of our brains. While the conscious mind controls logic, the subconscious part works silently in the background, controlling how we behave and influencing our habits. Why is the subconscious mind more powerful then the logical, conscious mind? Its because emotions and feelings are always more powerful then logic. When people mention their will power is very strong, what they are referring to is the power that comes from the subconscious part of their minds.

How does this subconscious part of the mind helps with achieving our goals? For one, the goal setting process specifically taps on the powerhouse portion of the mind to help us achieve our goals. Techniques in goal setting like setting up a plan and writing down the goals imprints our goals in our mind. During the goal setting process, you involve your emotions and feelings and these factors gives motivation for you to achieve your goals. When you draw up a plan on the steps that you will be taking to achieve your goals, you give your mind an imbalance and the need to complete the task. Each small milestone that you achieve in your plan provides you with a positive feedback loop which fires up your enthusiasm and motivation even more.

Goal setting, without doubt, gives us direction and provides us a platform and a structured way to achieve our goals. In that, it gives the control and power to reach our maximum potential in all areas of our lives.

Alvin runs a Personal Goal Setting website that deals with issues on goal setting, time management and other essential life skills at LifeGoals.

The Power of Subconscious Mind

By Susan Gray

Our brain is “divided” into two sections: the conscious and the subconscious. You’ve heard scientists say that we only use 10% of our mind, mostly conscious. The subconscious is much bigger and more powerful. This section of the brain controls about 90% of the rest of our brain. Can you imagine how your life would change if you used the power of subconscious mind to it’s fullest? Yes, we can use the magic power of subconscious mind to improve our lives.
What does our subconscious do?

The subconscious mind is there to protect us, to keep us alive. Everything we experience in life with our five senses – all that we can see, hear, feel, taste or smell is sent for future processing and storage to our powerful subconscious mind.

Our subconscious mind creates a reference to these events. Let’s say you’ve had some negative experience in your life, so your conscious mind has sent input of that experience to your subconscious mind for processing and storage. If you ever face the similar event later in your life, your subconscious mind will automatically recall the negative experience and will send you sensations, emotions and images. It remembers your past experiences and how to respond to any input from all your senses and your thoughts.

Good example of it is hot kettle. Subconscious mind remembers that kettle can be hot and can hurt; otherwise we would keep on making the same mistakes.

Our subconscious mind is multitasking and can do several automated tasks at the same time as walking, breathing, keeping the heart beating etc.

It works for us 24 hours a day without taking rest.

Another great example of the power of subconscious mind is driving your car. When you drive a car, you do it automatically without even thinking how to do it, you just drive.

The good thing is that we can use the power of subconscious mind to achieve out goals and dreams. You can program your subconscious mind to improve any aspect of your life.

All your thoughts, actions and experiences that are received through conscious mind, are recorded and stored in subconscious mind, but the subconscious mind does not know the difference in what you perceive as reality and what is imagined. The subconscious mind can only think literally. It also does not understand the humor.

The great tool to program the subconscious mind for the success is visualization. It allows you to consciously attract what you want. You need to visualize images of positive desired result on a daily basis. Include feeling and emotions.

Thinking only good and positive thoughts is also very effective way of programming of subconscious mind. You have the power to choose your thoughts. Be aware of your thoughts, control them. Whatever you think, your conscious mind sends to subconscious mind and your subconscious mind accepts it as true. Don’t say “I will fail “, “I can’t do this”, and “I can’t afford it”. Your subconscious mind accepts these statements as true.

Train your conscious mind to think of success, happiness, joy, prosperity, health and love.

Use the power of your subconscious mind to bring into your life success, money, a job, a house, a car or anything else. Repeat your positive affirmations daily. Feel the joy of achievement and success as you repeat them to yourself.

We were born with the power of subconscious mind; we just never used it to it’s fullest.

If you have a strong desire to succeed, you will unleash the power of subconscious mind.

My best wishes for your success and personal growth,

Susan Gray

How to Stop Feeling Sad

By Mohamed Farouk

Feeling Sad

So you are feeling Sad. I know how it feels like, it feels like there is something hurting you but you are not aware of it, It feels like you are neither happy nor satisfied. But why do we feel sad? Are these sad feelings nothing more than a part of the usual cycle of mood swings?

No they are not; these sad feelings are a message sent to you by your subconscious mind, in order to take an action.

Why Do We Feel Sad?

Sad feelings are like all the other emotions we experience, they are an indication that something is going wrong in our lives. The root causes for sad feelings are uncountable but they can be summarized under one big category, Unsolved Problems.

The more unsolved problems you have, the more likely you will feel sad from time to time. You don't have to solve the problem completely to feel good; you just need to take an action towards solving it. see this example below for a better understanding of the concept, which is an example of the communication that happens between you and your subconscious mind.

Your Subconscious Mind Hey, you may not get a raise this year and you are not taking any actions, I am sending you some sad feelings to motivate you.

You Oh my God, I am feeling sad, I am feeling sad. Why, why is this happening to me, God, why, why me??

Few weeks later you discovered that you may be feeling sad because you may not get a raise, so you started to work harder

Your Subconscious Mind I can see you are taking actions, there is no more need for the sad feelings, I am withdrawing them again

As you can see, the subconscious mind found no more reason to keep the sad feelings and so they disappeared. When you feel sad, your main focus should be finding the root cause for these feelings then working towards solving them.

Feeling Sad without Knowing Why

Feeling sad without knowing why is usually the result of having too many accumulated problems in your subconscious mind to the extent that you don't know which of them is the real reason for your sad feelings.

Some people escape solving their problems by taking drugs, others escape them by sleeping while a third category escapes by going into a new relationship. There are hundreds of methods that people use to bury their problems deeper in their subconscious minds, but the subconscious mind never gives up, it always replays back by sending a more intense sad feeling in order to wake you up.

If you don't really know what's really making you feel sad then start by sorting out all of the problems you have, then solve them one by one, when you come along the one that is causing you the sad feelings you will feel better.

Feeling Sad all the Time (For extended Periods)

Feeling sad all the time is one of the symptoms of depression. You may be feeling sad because you are depressed. Personally, I consider depression a message too, a message telling you that unless you bring back what was lost your subconscious mind will keep you depressed.

stopping Feeling Sad

Whether it's an unsolved problem or whether it's a problem that is buried into your subconscious mind, the result will be sad feelings. The only way to deal with these sad feelings is to solve what can be solved and to accept what cannot be solved; only then your sad feelings will go away.

If you don't like this approach, you can start it the other way around, by starting a journey towards feeling happy. This guide will tell you what you need to do in order to feel happy, which in turn, will drive away sad feelings.

You And The Subconscious Mind

By Frank Jr. Q. Aurillo

I personally like to call this article "You And The Subconscious Mind" with a little emphasis on the uniqueness of the mind which may arouse the curiosity of some readers into wondering why didn't I just say "You And Your Subconscious Mind" as this could have been simpler and more straightforward.

That's just the point of this discussion of the subconscious mind. And it is our normal tendency to refer to it with an assumption too far off the mark, which is, that we normally call it our own and take it for granted as if it were some kind of body part that we can pinpoint and show to others. For lack of true understanding we invariably think of the subconscious mind as something that we can appropriate, a distinctiveness that attaches to our individuality in the same context that you can refer to your hand or hair as part of yourself.

Firstly, because I'm talking about the subconscious mind whenever I speak of the term mind, and am not therefore referring to the conscious, logical or analytical mind that is identified with the left hemisphere of the human brain. Here, I refer to the mind that's more closely related to the autonomous functioning of the nervous system of the body and resides within the right brain hemisphere. In my view, however, it resides in the entire human body through the endocrine glands.

According to the experts, this section of the mind is in charge of the automotive functions of the human body. For example, whoever heard of someone deliberately and consciously ordering his lungs to breathe air in and out, his heart to pump blood and oxygen to his brain to keep it alive and have his digestive and other systems work 24/7 without let-up? That would have entailed that person being awake all those hours to direct and manage all those bodily functions.

But people go to bed during the night and all these respiratory, circulatory, digestive and metabolic functions of the body are undertaken in the usual course of rest without the person being even aware of it.

This fact, standing alone and by itself, should clearly demonstrate that we do not have full control of all our bodily functions. By this, we mean that we really do not have sole and exclusive dominion over our minds. And since these bodily systems run without our intervention they could only do so because of another section of our being that is different from that over which we can exercise control of by means of our will. If so, then we are dealing with a part of our mind that most of us may have taken for granted.

What manner of mind is this that does all these things independently of our bidding? And, can we pause to think that plant and animal life too experience the same cellular and tissue activity involving growth and regeneration as our bodies do? To the extent that this mind we call the subconscious remains hidden but does its job nevertheless to animate human beings and all life on this planet, then to that extent may we propose the theory that the subconscious mind can exist not just within but even outside of our bodies.

In another article, I present some discussion regarding the subconscious mind with questions like, can this mind be controlled by us, or is it us that is under its perpetual control and mercy? Just thinking that the autonomic functions may just quit suddenly without your permission, knowledge and consent. Then what? Also, we talk about how we may bring (if it is possible at all) this elusive mind to the light of day and examine its nature and more or less come to a basic understanding as to how we may be able to use it to our benefit and advantage.

We are people of the religion. In our religion ever be chastened by the importance of our confidence to religion of attentive. At along epoch, the leaders of religion is always buzz warning to adherent its religion, to ever be "strengthening confidence" its religion, that goes on fight "having confidence" continually... faith of its religion.

The essential for you to know, the real confidence constitutes a situation to collect of thoughts. It can be stimulated or created by instruction continually into subconscious mind. Confidence is a situation collect of thoughts that you can develop appropriate your willingness by implemented of instruction to subconscious mind with whole sensory of your positive emotion; so bottom of think is a conscious of accept and utilized as base of action to make a fact. Confidence is a situation to collect of thoughts that can be gotten by gives "autosuggestion".

Yeah...the most of confidence is a situation collect of thoughts, that can be gotten by autosuggestion. Confidence will give a life, a force and an action to impulse of our thinking. Confidence is an element which change an ordinary thinking vibration of circumscribed our think to a form of spiritual equivalent; and constitutes a basic of all of miracle and a mystery or even can't be analysed by knowledge.

Confidence is a constitutes of single media and the only one that enables to arouse a force of infinite source of energy in our self; and restrain to been utilized of us to get better. We conceive of appearance the miracle is very often. This is actually an autosuggestion principle, that all of thinking impulse is a trend, that must be contained it... its equivalent to physically reality. This principle always successful for our fruitfulness, if it been utilized by constructively and conversely, but if it been used by destructively, so that will corrosive to our life.

Since you could accept and understand an autosuggestion of confidence principle, you have a key, that will open the door of subconscious mind. The reality have a lot of prove, the point out of just thinking by espoused emotion only influential to subconscious mind for real act.

Really, that correctness bottom of think aware of faster effected by coherent thinking impulse in a passion; therefore you shall know more properly, more emotion beneficent. Negative emotion basically automatic will turn human thinking impulse, you shall discard; or at least you stop in order not to interference. But positive emotion shall be inseminated, immersed over autosuggestion principle, into thinking impulse that you want, and turn in subconscious mind.
Napoleon Hill is a motivator universalizes said: "No bound to collect of thoughts, but what does we admit. Whatever that can be thought up and believed by thinking, it must can be reached!" So it has confidence on yourself, since actually that confidence is an infinite. Confidence constitutes your starting point to wend prosperity and unmitigated life happiness. Your confidence is supposing a pinch bar big stick, it will take you to go to the flock place of success elements.

You have to make your life be consumed by miracles of positive thinking. A Simple Explaination Of The Subconscious Mind

By Mark David Peters

If you have ever read any self help information or information about the mind, then you have probably come across the term "subconscious mind". This statement is thrown about so often, that people are familiar with the term "subconscious" but have little or no idea what it actually means. In this article we are going to be taking a brief look at what is an extremely complex and detailed subject.

So What Is The Subconscious Mind?

The simplest way to understand the subconscious is as a sleeping mind, that you have no conscious awareness of. Your subconscious is constantly recording new information you obtain from the environment around you and stores it away. This means that everything you have ever seen, heard or experienced has been filed away somewhere in the depths of your subconscious mind.

The information that has been stored in your subconscious forms your belief systems, which influence how you act as a person and the things you believe in.

However not all information that enters the subconscious is equal. For example, your first 6 years of life will have the greatest influence on shaping your subconscious mind. This is because when you are born you must learn how to do things, and the way the world works from other people. Therefore the first people to have an influence on your mind are your parents.

After 6 years of age your subconscious now has a foundation of information to work with, and so in the future, compares all incoming information against what it already has. This means some information may be rejected, modified or added too. This tweaking process typically occurs during your teenage years, after which it becomes much more rigid, making it harder to alter.

However it is possible to modify your beliefs in the subconscious after your teenage years, however it will likely take repeated exposure over a prolonged period of time in order for the subconscious to be modified again.

So as you can see your subconscious mind is who you are, who you have been and who you will be in the future. It is influence by some information more than others, which makes up belief systems that are expressed in the way you live and act in your life.

Unleash The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind

By Carol Robinson

Have you ever asked yourself, ‘Why don't I have the life that I dreamed of as a child'? Why don't I have more money, better health or, well, you fill in the blank. Many people today are searching for the answers to these questions. They want change but are unaware of how to implement changes. I was one of these people.

In my search for answers, I came across information about the mind and how it really works. There are two aspects to the mind, the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. When most people think about the mind, they picture the brain. The thinking mind is much more than that. The conscious mind is sometimes referred to as the rational mind. It gathers information through sensory input. The subconscious mind gathers information through emotional input.

The conscious mind can accept or reject any idea. The conscious mind uses the five senses to accept or reject information. We have the ability to decide if we believe something to be fact or fiction through the use of the conscious mind. We also have the ability to change what we believe at the conscious level. Have you ever repeated a saying that you heard as a child without really understanding the emotional connection to that saying? I sure have! I grew up in a lower middle class environment where money was not abundant. I remember my mother saying, ‘money doesn't grow on trees', many times. As an adult I repeated this saying because I believed that you must work hard and save your money to live a satisfying life. Because I believed this, my conscious mind accepted it as fact. Be careful what you accept as fact!

Now let's move to the subconscious mind. This area is sometimes referred to as the emotional mind or intuitive mind. This area has no ability to reject any idea presented to it. It cannot differentiate between real or fake. It accepts whatever you believe on an emotional level. In the above example I emotionally believed that abundance came through hard work and frugal living. What I did not understand then was the imprint that I had placed on my subconscious mind. Whatever is impressed on the subconscious mind controls your vibration. You see, the body is a mass of molecules vibrating at a very high rate. When we believe in lack, we vibrate at a low level. When we believe in abundance, we vibrate higher. With these thoughts of lack and struggle, I lowered my vibration resulting in lowered results. We need a higher vibration in order to attract the abundance that our higher power wants us to have.

Maybe you know of someone who is always unhappy, unhealthy and broke. Do you feel good being around them? Do they lift your energy? Of course not! They have a low level of vibration and it can be very draining. On the other side, isn't it uplifting to be around a genuinely happy, healthy and positive person? Yes! They bring your energy level up.

To have permanent changes in our lives, we must change the thinking of our subconscious mind. If you want to be successful, you must know how to unleash the hidden power of your subconscious mind. So how do we do this? There are four steps to complete the process.

The first step involves your thoughts. You must become aware of what you are thinking about by listening to the little voices that run through your mind. What are they saying? Do they start with words like can't, won't or shouldn't? Remember that thoughts are units of energy. Are your thoughts vibrating at a high level or low level? The most effective way to change these thoughts is with positive affirmations. Remember that your subconscious mind has no ability to reject an idea that you believe. So write out your affirmation in the present tense for whatever you desire and keep it positive. Bob Proctor taught me to start by saying, ‘I am so happy and grateful now that…' Gratitude is very important in this process as well. At the very least, be grateful that you have become aware of your negative thoughts because now you can change them! Another powerful tool is visualization. Our mind sees in pictures. If you create a board with pictures of all the things that you want to attract into your life, they will come. You must place this board in a place where you can view it several time a day. Visualization is the language of your subconscious mind and intuition is how your subconscious mind communicates with you. Affirmations and visualization will change your thoughts.

The second step is internalizing the emotions involved with what you want to attract. When you have the things that you desire in your life, how will you feel? Most people fail to unleash the hidden power of their subconscious mind simply because they never spend time thinking through what they really want in life and then allowing the emotions to become real. Picture yourself walking through the front door of your new home or behind the wheel of your new car. How do you feel? Allow these emotions to grow. When you look at your picture board, smile. When you read your affirmations, stand and shout them out. Convince your subconscious mind that you have what you want from life and you will.

The third step involves action. This is the step that is most neglected. You need to move in the direction of your dreams to achieve them. This step usually involves your intuition or gut feeling. When you are effectively implementing steps one and two, you will find that ideas or thoughts just come to you. This is the universe telling you which direction to go. Listen to these thoughts and act. You will also find that phone calls or emails will come at just the right time. Act on them. Coincidence is just the universe communicating with you. Take action and you will achieve your dreams. The most important part of this step is to not worry about how to achieve something. The universe will take care of the how. The how will be attracted to you through the subconscious mind, so listen.

The fourth and final step involves your results. Always analyze your results. How is that working for you, an infamous Dr. Phil line. If your results are poor, change your course. It you feel good about your results, keep moving in that direction.

Once you learn how to unleash the unlimited power of your subconscious mind, you will receive anything that you want from life. Solutions to problems will present themselves, income will increase and your giving spirit will grow.

Power of the Subconscious Mind - Unlocking Your Subconscious Mind's Powerful Force

By Michael Lee

You may have heard how some people believe in the power of the subconscious mind. It is a fact that quite some people live emotionally crippled adulthoods because they have lived through harrowing childhoods. This is because the memory of being told that they are less than who they are as people has been burned into their memories. This is the power of the subconscious mind, which can either build or destroy a person.

Maybe you are one of these people, too. Maybe you are wondering if there is a solution to your low self-esteem. You can now cease to despair, because the same mechanism that had caused your low self-esteem, is the same mechanism you can harness to rebuild your confidence. Below are the ways you can use to turn around your subconscious mind’s power, from self-destructive to self-empowering.

1) Stop berating yourself for normal faults.

When you criticize yourself for mistakes that everyone does, you are actually deepening the self-worth wounds that you already have right now; so stop cursing yourself. You are only human: perfection is out of reach for everyone. Cut yourself some slack, and be kinder to yourself.

2) Encourage yourself.

Instead of allowing yourself to melt down when things go wrong, stop yourself and try to remember the things you have done that were either right or good. Remember your accomplishments, or the times when you had been a good person. Remember the good character traits that you have.

3) Accept compliments with a "thank you".

Most people do not realize that the best way to harness the power of the subconscious mind and reprogram the self-esteem is to accept positive things said by others. Most people have the tendency to reject compliments; not realizing this would only wound the psyche more. So do yourself a favor, and accept those compliments

You can reprogram the way you think. Harness the power of the subconscious mind through positive thinking and actions, and see yourself empowered and reaching your fullest potential.

How I Make And Save Thousands Of Dollars Using Only My Subconscious Mind-You Can Do The Same!

By Terry Goss

Thousands of dollars will be yours, just by using your subconscious mind.

You get a very good feeling when you make new money. You also get a very good feeling when you save money.

Here's how you can have and enjoy both:

First, I'd like to share my personal story with you.

When it came to fortunate breaks in life, I would lose out a lot. As the old saying goes: I'd be "a day late, and a dollar short".

I would sometime come in second place, third place, or fourth place. I would come up short. Missing out on first place opportunities by a thin hair.

Strange mishaps kept working against me. Odd-ball twists. Monkey wrenches thrown into my plans at the last minute. It was so bad, sometimes I thought there was a secret curse on me.

I would come up short too many times, too often, for it to be normal or natural. Something was mysteriously holding me back. Somehow, I was missing the good life; the mother lode of "lucky breaks", "deals", "bargains", "windfalls", "contests", "found Money", "fortunate advantages" etc.

You know what I mean. I was losing out. I would miss out on good opportunities by the skin of my teeth. I missed items on sale by a day, lost office pools, unfortunate mishaps, expired coupons, losing lottery tickets, etc.

I lost thousands of dollars every year on failed and missed opportunities.

I can still remember my sick stomach feeling I would have after purchasing an item, only to see it go on sale a day, or week later. It got so bad, I would hesitate buying, fearing the item would go on sale just afterward.

Some would say I was just plain "unlucky". Remember, I said it seemed like a curse was hanging over me.

But here's what I found out: there wasn't a curse on me after all, the problem was my own mind. I wasn't using it properly. I mean, I wasn't daily, actively, using it to better my life.

Formal schools never taught me how to use my mind. So, I wasn't educated about the mind/life circumstance connection. Even worst, I was mentally ignorant. I didn't know my subconscious mind from a hole in the ground.

I didn't see how my mind could make a difference in my life. I thought an unlucky curse was the cause of my missing out. I never suspected my own mind. I always looked outside for the cause/answer, never within.

That all changed, when I started learning how my mind worked. I got a good mental education. I started growing. I learned about my subconscious mind. I kept growing. I learned how to program my subconscious mind.

So, instead of rushing out and buying, only to see the item go on sale later, I now program my subconscious mind, and patiently wait on its intuitive hunch promptings. It works like magic!

My subconscious mind finds out, and sets up all kinds of profitable opportunities for me, then gently signal nudges me to do the right things, and go to the right places at the right times. I started winning. It was truly amazing!

I started catching items on sale, winning lotteries, office pools, parking spots, found money, stock dividends, savings growth, fortunate meetings, great deals on my car, home, etc.

Like a charmed life, I started making and saving thousands of dollars each year; just by properly using my subconscious mind. You can do it too!

Without my mental education, being taught how to use my subconscious mind, I'd still be a loser, missing out on the good life.

Today, people call me "happy-go-lucky", not knowing how unlucky my life used to be. Today, I treat my subconscious mind like a daily intimate partner. And like that credit card TV commercial said, "I never leave home without it"

How to Use Your Subconscious Power

By: Jimmy Cox

The secret of using the power of your subconscious is by deliberate preparation and by conscious predetermination of the outcome. Beyond that, you do nothing; you can do nothing to cause its power to be a major factor in your life. This brings us to the "formula" or "rules and regulations".

I did not dream up this formula. Science did not invent it, although science can be credited with discovering it. When the Creator gave you that two-part mind of yours the conscious and the subconscious He made this formula "part and parcel" of the fact that you are a human being. The formula has three steps to it.

1. Deliberately condition your subconscious by what you do consciously. You are always aware of what you are doing. Apply a personal "golden rule" to this awareness. "Do unto your subconscious as you would have your subconscious do unto you." That is why the recording camera is in your mind.

2. Wholeheartedly want the best results from such self-influence action. Certainly this supports the creed of "do" that is now yours.

3. Let your subconscious have free reign in demonstrating its power. Let things happen to you and they will happen to you. That is why you have your will at the control panel in your mind.

The use of this formula will bring the power of your subconscious mind into full play. It is the only way to use it positively, and the word "positive" is the only thing that I would add to this formula. Of course, I don't know why anyone would want to be deliberate about negative conditioning, or would want, or let, negative outcomes be predominate, least of all you!

Go on a retreat to start right

Now we can add some practical "do it yourself" suggestions to this formula. You have heard of the "retreat" program that many churches have. Perhaps you have had the remarkable experience of attending one. In such an experience, a person spends many consecutive hours in silent contemplation with himself and the spirit of his Creator and, in a practical fashion, with his subconscious. The objective is for him to see himself, and his life, objectively. Frankly, the best way to make steps one and two of the formula most effective is to go to a "retreat" in preparation for them. The time you spend alone, if only a few minutes, in contemplation of deliberate action will start you off on the right track without the slightest doubt. Try to establish a pattern of brief but regular "retreats" in your daily life.

Avoid trial-and-error ideas

Don't use the trial-and-error method of finding the right material for your subconscious to work on. There is no need for you to do it. This pattern of action is a time and effort waster and unnecessarily delays achievement. Seek guidance, if you are uncertain of the best steps to take at any time. Books, courses, counseling, the experience of others are all resources for supplying yourself with usable knowledge. With such proven knowledge, you will follow the positive course of self-influence.

Your subconscious is a versatile powerhouse. It can, and is willing to, work on many actions and results at the same time. Give it the chance to work for you at its top capacity by having a variety of positive actions on your program at any one time. In fact, the more you use the power of your subconscious, the more it will appear to be a power in your life. Here is one certain instance where practice makes perfect.

Be positive! Be deliberate!

Deliberate guidance, positive guidance, is the key to using the power of your subconscious. The best use of this power is dependent upon this guidance.
Just let the subconscious do its work!

The Power Of The Subconscious Mind

By: Charles Cox

The human mind has always been as mysterious and fascinating as anything in our universe, but the investigation of the mind has become quite a topic of experimental science in recent times. This scientific approach has paid dividends as we have discovered that mental processes connect to emotional experiences and have a subsequent affect on health and disease.

As the 20th century drew to a close, we became aware that there is a phenomenal connection between what happens in our minds and the affect our thoughts have on our bodies. Much of our serious diseases are believed to have significant mental and emotional factors. Lately, some recent research on health and wellness speaks about how our minds and how visualization techniques are now being used to fight disease.

We must remember that our minds are the center of a complex nervous system. We have networks of nerve cells that run throughout our bodies while connecting every tissue to our brains. Electrical impulses pass though these internal highways at very high speeds, even jumping across narrow gaps between cells, passing data to and from our minds. Our mind itself has two parts, a conscious and subconscious. Most of us are very familiar with the conscious mind as it organizes and runs our outer life. But an alarming number of our decisions that affect our life actually come from our subconscious. The subconscious is extremely powerful and has many functions.

Let us examine some of the functions of the subconscious. To begin with, our subconscious serves as a memory bank. Unbelievably everything that we have ever experienced is stored there. The subconscious actually stores a multitude of memory patterns which will feed information to the conscious mind when activated. Data is never erased unless the subconscious mind gives that command.

The subconscious also controls and regulates involuntary functions of the body such as breathing, circulation, metabolism, digestion, hormone balance, etc. Self hypnosis is often used to affect these areas.

Another function of the subconscious is that of being the seat of all our emotions. Since our emotions dictate the intensity of our desires which affect our behavior, thus, many behavior issues have a very strong emotional content. Self hypnosis can be used to release these stored emotions.

Also, the subconscious mind is the home of the imagination. Even when not used, all of us have an active imagination that can be used to create our goals. Creative visualization done in trance is one of the greatest secrets of success.
Interesting enough, our subconscious also carries out our habitual conduct. Through the utilization of direct and indirect suggestion in self hypnosis, we can develop a system of habits that support goals.

Finally, the subconscious is what directs our energy and drives us toward our goals. Using positive reprogramming the subconscious can be directed towards creating our goals. Self hypnosis is one of the most practical and effective ways to enter the subconscious mind.

Therefore, self Hypnosis is a great way to create positive changes in your life. It can be used to change bad habits, to achieve our goals, and as we have recently discovered, it can be used to fight sickness and disease.
